Description
Marxhausen was perhaps best known for his sound sculptures. this very early sound sculpture is meant to be placed next to the ear and plucked. Marxhausen’s first sound sculptures were often modified door knobs.
This piece is has been made available by Concordia University’s Center for Liturgical Arts. Proceeds from the sale of this piece will go toward restoring Reinhold Marxhausen’s original Seward studio. In the CLA’s inventory it is numbered R8.
