Description

Much of Reinhold’s work focused on found-object art and photographs inspired by everyday objects. Marked by a spirit of restless curiosity and a zeal for the common person, Marxhausen reminds us that we live in a ready made world that is just waiting to be rediscovered anew each day. “The world is exciting,” Marxhsusen said. “If it is dull it is made that way by us. We’re unique and the way we each see things is unique.”

Note that Untitled #1313 and Untitled #1315 are shown in the original artist’s framing and mounting. The oddball contraption for hanging the pieces was added to preserve the artist’s original framing and mounting.
