Description
Marxhausen was perhaps best known for his sound sculptures. This cubical sound sculpture is meant to be placed next to the ear and plucked. There is a loop integrated into this piece indicating that it was hung at some point.
This piece is has been made available by Concordia University’s Center for Liturgical Arts. Proceeds from the sale of this piece will go toward restoring Reinhold Marxhausen’s original Seward studio. In the CLA’s inventory it is numbered R6.
