Sun Enterprise 250 Servers

	SewardWEB uses only Sun Microsystems servers to deliver the mission-critical UNIX hosting our clients expect.
While most other hosting providers choose the less costly Intel-based platform running Red Hat LINUX or some other opensource OS, SewardWEB is backed up and supported by Sun Microsystems support services and technologies.

Our commitment to reliability is evident in that we invest over $30,000 in each of these servers. All of our Sun Enterprise servers share common characteristics. All have over 100GB of storage capacity, operate on 1,024MB of RAM, with dual UltraSparc 300MHz Processors with 2MB of cache. All servers are running Solaris 7, May 1999 release. Location, Location, Location. As you may have already guessed, these servers are not located in a backroom in Seward. All of our servers are located in Kansas City, Mo. in a Network Operation Center run by Communitech.net. They are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week to insure virtually constant uptime. We've been working with Communitech for nearly two years, and by using their NoC we are able to provide the speed and reliability that would otherwise be prohibitively expensive in the Seward area.
